COVID-19 RW 05 Penggilingan Develops Food Barn for Isolated Residents

The COVID-19 RW 05 Penggilingan Task Force, Cakung, East Jakarta has developed a food barn, which is a facility prepared for isolated residents in obtaining rice packaged meals and raw materials in the form of basic necessities.

COVID-19 RW 05 Penggilingan Task Force Chairman Yasril Hardi said it was developed in RT 17/05, Penggilingan, Cakung.

"We also have an urban farming as wide as 300 square meters which is planted with various hydroponic plants, vegetables and a nutritional pool," he said, Friday (1/15).

He explained the vegetables planted on the land included mustard greens, kale, spinach, chilies, eggplant, etc. There was also a nutrition pool, which was filled with catfish, tilapia and lobster.

As for environmental security, there was only one access guarded by members of the Karang Taruna youth organization.

"Residents who enters must wear a mask, wash their hands and have their temperature checked," he stressed.

Not only that, there were also 76 officers of COVID-19 team from RT, RW and TP PKK cadres.

"They are assigned to campaign health protocols by patrolling around the village while spreading banners," he stated.
